DEER SPIRIT WAR CLUB DANCE STICK

This is the DEER SPIRIT WAR CLUB/DANCE STICK by well known & popular Creek artist La Ne Ayo who is considered a 'master artist'. It is made with the jaw bone of a deer that has been professionally cleaned & prepared. The artist then carved, stained & decorated it with brass tacks on both sides ! This item has an extended wooden handle which is decorated with bits of either coyote or fox fur, leather bindings & fringe along with vibrantly colored glass seed beads. The drape features carved bone hair pipes & glass crow beads. It is finished with pin feathers & genuine horse hair. This is a fine piece of art to add to your collection, or carry with your regalia. This piece measures 18" in length.
