fringed handle unique to him and the sacred path he
walks. Prayer Feathers are commonly given as a gift to
heal the heart. Just as ancient Americans used the
feathers to send prayers to the heavens and draw

This beautiful Ceremonial Turkey Fan with Peyote
Stitch Bead Work is hand made by Native American
artist Lillian Romero of the Laguna people. The
beautiful peyote stitch bead work is done by Sioux
artist Barbara Goen. Click thumbnail at left to see
full size image of fan along with close ups of bead
work. This fan measures about 8.5-9" in width at
the widest point of the feathers & 22" from
the top of the feathers to the bottom of the fan
handle. It also has about another 14-15" of
fringe which is decorated with smaller turkey feathers
